This filter mounts easily with no tools and the replacement cartridges are a great value, since they last many months (up to a year, depending on your water.)It noticeably reduced chlorine (which dries my skin terribly) and the odor of rotten eggs that sometimes is in our city water (hydrogen sulfide.)This is basically a Brita filter for your shower and it works just as well, if not better, than it's advertised.Since the water is cleaner, it takes less soap to lather up and there doesn't seem to be as much soap scum to clean up.
