(More customer reviews)I have been using these filters for several years now.They work.I use them for watering the garden and also for making compost.The surface tension is broken when passing through the media, and the water seems to soak into and onto things much better.
The plants seem to like this water much better than regular tap.Of course rain is best.If tap water is a 1 and rain is a 10, these filters come in somewhere around 6.
The slower you adjust your flow, the better it seems to work, although it still effectively works at the max flow recommended.
The only down side is that you can not put pressure on the line.That is, you can not turn on the water then stop the flow past the filter.Otherwise, the media becomes compressed and loses effectiveness.
